I was just looking at these about an hour ago. That 100 is definitely nice and the price isn't attrocious.

100 mw of 445 is so weak

These are at least the single mode 445 diodes. This means a much cleaner / smaller dot then the high power blues we are used to seeing.

The prices doesn't seem too bad for a completed host with a single mode 445 in it.

I think it is a good price for single mode. I also like the small host.

Well, you would probably get a 50mW output from one of those fleabay pens.

Yeah I'm expecting 45-65ish mw from it but the lazerer pointer would have just been nicer, maybe I'll get one eventually.

Also for this power level, lazerer recommends goggles for looking at the dot at close range. I can't find goggles for low power 445s and was wondering how necessary it would be for a 50mw

If you plan using the laser inside, you should get goggles.
If you use it outside and be careful, you won't need.

mini B 50mW actual output around 50-60mW (overspec guaranteed)
mini B 100mW actual output around 80-95mW

The reason that we recommend a goggle is to prevent user from accidiently shot the laser into their eyes. In fact both version have beam dot that you are comfortable to look at.

mini B - 445nm 50mW Pocket Low Power Blue Laser Pointer
100mw sounds cool I wonder how visible a beam it would give though. :)

We found that they are as visible as a 10-20mW purn green laser. Yes you still clearly see the beam at night.

This seems like a good deal, I really want to order! I only wish there were more options for the host.
