so what about something that you wore like one of those badges you wear at nuclear sites and places where radiation can be a problem for lasers?

a badge or whatever that measures the amount of laser light you have been exposed to - scattered or direct

probably disposable or maybe reusable after some kinda method to reset it - it would turn colors to show the intensity of light and maybe the spectrum but probably different ones for each range of colors would be needed

I will be honest, I have no idea what the point of this would be, the only place this matters is your eyes, right? - well I have been thinking about what I call the "laze-o meter" for weeks now and my friends think its funny as hell so I got to see if its even practical

Unless you have a UV laser or something that can burn your skin, the best place for such a badge would be in front of your eyes, or it would measure the wrong place.
