Default Laser Goggles 1-2W blue laser

Hey, im new to this forum but I have a question before purchasing safety goggles:
Eagle PairŪ 190-540nm OD6 Slip Over Laser Safety Goggles

I've heard that these goggles are made from plastic
I bought 1-2w blue laser especially for wood drawing or melting electric objects that's save me time and energy, now for the question since this goggles are made from plastic (I know that 1 second of exposure will not melt the goggles )what happens if I get a direct hit in the eye or from a reflection while wearing the goggles will my eye still be in the safe zone?
thanks.

Welcome to the forum! I am a noob too, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Eagle pair goggles will protect you from a direct hit, they will not melt unless you have it directly aimed at your eye for maybe 15 seconds. You are *completely* safe from reflections, and you most likely won't see the dot.

Like Pikablu said, you'll be fine. The eagle pair glasses are good enough that it takes quite a few seconds of continuous direct exposure before they'll start to melt.

Eagles are a good pair for entry level googles. Just remember that 445/450 nm lasers can bounce of any shiny surface and catch you under your glasses. So be aware of were that beam is at all times. You are responsible also if some one comes in and gets a beam in the eyes. Have some way of letting people know when your using your laser so they dont get hurt by walking in on you using your laser

Thank you all
as for your answer ofc I will let them know That im using the laser
the laser also come with safety keys so no worries
as for the shiny surface that the laser can catch me under the glasses
isn't these glasses cover all the area of your eyes? that can be seen clearly on the picture.
