Just ordered a 2,200mw 445nm blue laser!

It is possible to have a 2.2W laser but it is not possible to set out with the idea of creating one with that guaranteed outcome. In fact it is very unlikely. I would ask to use a middle man or at the very least ask for a picture of the LPM reading.:beer:

@Revoke - That member has attempted to scam people on this forum plenty of times, and is actually using pics of lasers build by others on this forum.

Save yourself a lot of headaches and pull out now. You'll be lucky to get a 1.5W laser, and for that $350 is way too much.

If he refuses - which he will - say ok, but that you want to have the laser independently tested to make sure it is as advertised. Tell him that if the laser is not as advertised you will open a dispute for "Bait and Switch" with whatever payment method you used.

You used paypal I assume.

You're gonna be out on shipping, if that scenario occurs you lose out on shipping back the piece of crap, but at least you won't lose too much money.
