looks very cool, but I think that the heatsink is small for 445nm laser

I actually agree also. That is part of the reason why I made it only momentary on and off. On the plus side it cools off really fast.

I did originally want to sell this laser but since it was my fist time building something like this it has a few cosmetic defects.

Also the beam exits at a slight angle and I haven't been able to fix it yet. Not sure if it is the lens assembly or the diode not pressed in straight.

With that said I was going to post it for $200 w/o batteries.
