Hello, I'm brand new here.
I need some good suggestions on laser glasses for a 1W 445nm
from Lazerer.com I have been looking around and cant really find a
simple answer for this. :( please help and im not really looking to spend 50
dollars on a pair because i dont have the money. but a simple link to some
good glasses would be much appreciated.

Would these possibly work??

They claim to have an OD of 5 or 6. If that's accurate then they would protect you. As far as buying cheap glasses like theses, I wouldn't recommend it. You only have one set of eyes and can easily damage them with lasers. IMO you should save up and buy a nice set of Eagle Pair glasses or something of equal quality.

I am the same as you. i was looking at a 445nm 1w laser (specifically the rifle) from lazerer. since it is a high powered laser and since i know there will be onlookers, i decided i needed to buy a couple pairs of 445nm laser protection goggles. does anybody know where to buy a couple pairs of 445nm laser goggles for around 10 dollars, as well as the goggles being high grade. i am on a small budget but i at least need protection. I know i am supposed to answer but i might as well ask while im here.

Thanks in advance to whoever helps.:thanks:

Why would you spend over $100 on one High Powered
Laser and not spend 1/2 that on a decent pair of Laser
Safety Goggles Glasses that can be used with many
Lasers to protect the only pair of eyes issued at birth.

The simple logic eludes me...

Yea. After you guys opened my mind to what a big deal this actually is, I decided to cash in a little extra for a good pair.

I'll still consider higher end but how do the pair of goggles called the T-Rex stand on a scale of one to ten in protection?

You'll need more than one pair if you ever hope to show of your lasers to anyone. Those cheaper $10 work great for that. You can reserve the really nice pair for yourself. ;)
