Hello, I am back ! for past 3 weeks I've been building my custom 2W 445nm handheld Blue laser 'pointer'
This laser is built absolutely from scrap parts.
Facts and specs !
Those shiny disks are HDD platters
Big round aluminium is from VCR motor (Stolen lol, dont ask)
2 Blue leds at top and bottom (one from Lighters other one from cheapo chinise 'gaming' mouse)
High quality 1000uf 10v cap for extra filtering (From motherboard)
Driver is cheapo chinese, set at 1.58 amps
Heatsink is drilled from a old AMD AM3 CPU heatsink
Japanese Omron momentary switch ! (From old Scanner that one company donated to me)
Diode is from DTR (Thanks man ! excellent service)

Please post a reply of what You think about this laser ! Thanks !

Oh yes, almost forgot - Huge thanks to LPF users for HUGE help with few questions !

Dont judge me too hard because this was first time on lathe.
