Hi everyone, I'd like to make a nice little 'lab' laser for a pre-undergrad project.
I put together a blu-ray laser kit before, and other than that all my experience is in reading books. haha

I need help making a list basically, websites, tips, anyone that's selling parts.

I really appreciate it.:thanks:

PS. Sorry if I posted into the wrong forum(Nub here.)

Make yourself a nice 445nm laser. The beam specs won't be perfect but the power will be there. You can get diodes from me or DTR or Daquin.
You can get a driver from Dr. Lava at http://hacylon.case.edu/ebay/laser_diode/FlexModP3.php
You can get a 12V power supply anywhere.
You will need a heatsink, and a fan or TEC

Mount this heatsink into your shell or onto a bench/breadboard. That should be enough. Get yourself a good lens too and if you feel like going the extra mile you can get some aspheric lenses for beam correction.
