Here is a build I just made yesterday :)
It is in the classic C6 host, I really like the C6 host it's design is just so simple & nice :D

Well here's some pictures.

It's a special diode for sure, based on the pictures it looks brighter then previous 445's so it's possibly ~450nm :D
Running at 830mA & I can keep it on for 3 minutes before it even gets WARM :D but just to keep it in top shape I'm keeping the duty cycle at 3 minutes on 45 seconds off...

This is my favorite do far :D

:thanks: for looking

Nice build! The diode is indeed very unique. :)

I like how you get a reasonably long duty cycle by setting the current to low.

I was expecting a gold plated C6 or something along the lines when your title was "Golden C6" haha.

Cheers!

I have that golden sink too. Nice add-on to the C6 laser.

How did you do with the setscrew ? I made a small cut in the screw with the Dremel tool.
It looks ugly but it works. :)

btw thanks for the extra screws. I manage to screwed up some screws. :D

nice work Blord :gj:

The screws go in no problem with a allen wrench, just put force and turn, but it can't be removed now :yh:

but great work on yours :)
i ordered 2000 of them so i just poured in as many as looked correct ;):san:
