RIP: Gladiator. Nothing was actually wrong. I fixed the connection issue, as well as heat sinked the driver. But it STILL was over heating due to the inability to heat sink properly. So I deconstructed this build. I might give it another go later with a lower power buck driver. For now I rebuilt it into the L2P host with a micro boost set to only 900mA instead of 1.8A. It is still just as visibly beautiful. Power isn't everything :p

I do like that it is more compact now.

Too bad. The Gladiator was a beautiful laser. Lucky it is going to revive in another host.

Well Technically I can still run it with 3 dummy cells and 1 real battery. The drop in module is the same but now I am using a 1 battery boost driver instead of a buck driver.

I DO have the 3 dummy cells so really... Its just 2 hosts for the same drop in module now. The problem with running it at full power is the small amount of space I have isn't enough to fully heat sink. But I might get a lower power buck driver from lazeerer and do the same thing again. (For now it works with dummy cells, or 1 battery in my L2P host)
