Well everyone finally got tired of playing with cheap laser from and and somehow ended up finding jayrob's builds and with ton of email back and forth decided on his solarforce host , waited about month since he had so many ahead of me but was worth it. Photos are not that great since I had to use my wife's iPad. But I've gotten bit by this laser thing that I have another host coming from Ehgemus and getting ready to pay for one from grinde as well:) well without further do here it is. I used my tail cap from my solarforce m7 flashlight and very happy with the result, can't thank jay enough for his top notch host and just made it simple for me to build. He's as everybody already knows is a top notch seller!

So I'm running a 445 M140 diode with 2 watt xdrive with two aw rcr123a batteries.

Nice job! I'm not sure how familiar you might be with high powered handheld lasers since you mentioned everyone getting tired of playing with cheap lasers, but please make sure to use proper eye protection with that beautiful solarforce. You'd need safety goggles for a laser 1/2 the power of yours, I hope you have some for those indoor shots.

BTW My first laser build was also in a Jayrob host ;)

Thanks ! Yeah I'm all about safety so I have two pairs one for me and other for my son . If he chooses to see it. I even lock my lasers up in my gun safe just incase. My oldest is seven and he's very aware now that he'll always be wearing safety glasses if he's to see me use it. I feel like a kid in the candy store everyone's lasers!!! Now I'm looking at couple more tripods as well.
