Hey guys

I just finished my first build after a few difficulties, but all is well now.
It was one of Moh's C6 JAD kits, which is amazing by the way, and DTR's M140 diodes with a G-2 lens. I'm running it at 1.8A so it heats up pretty fast, but I don't mind short run times.

Props to Moh and DTR for these great parts!

I'll try to get some more at night when it's dark, but here's all I have for now.

A few night shots to get it started, I'll get more tonight, since the sky is so clear.

Wish I could show you some better pics, but all I got working right now is an iPhone camera :(

More pics(hopefully better) to come!

:thanks:

Well that is an easy build. Congratulations on your new laser. Don't forget the cycle times so it doesn't get too hot.

Awesome build!

I'm getting one of Moh's JAD Kits for my next build :)

He stopped selling them, im not sure if he is going to put them back up when he puts up the 501B JAD kits.

Yeah I'll probably get the 501B, easier to assemble.

Hey guys, just wondering if I could use two 18350 batts instead of the low capacity 16340 ones that i have right now. Would the slightly larger length affect it much? I'm also assuming the width would be okay since some people can use 18650 batteries in a C6

Thanks, Kyle

I think you might just be able to fit 2 unprotected 18350s in a c6.

Sweet, I'll look into gettin some.
Also, how long do you think I could leave it on before it gets too hot?
It gets quite warm after ~45sec-1min and I'm afraid of pushing it further.

45-60sec is max on a 1.8A M140 build. if you get a copper heat sink it may help out slightly but not a huge deal
