Yay! The laser worked fine, My teacher pushed it up to 0,5A and burned a hole in My backpack....
Ive ordered 5 lm317t that should arrive tomorrow, thanks for the help everyone

Yes great news! Look closely at the LM317t, one the diagrams I referenced on the pin Vin/Vout were opposite. I guess different manufactures.

Yeah, it's a constant current driver so go ahead and put an ammeter across the output. You don't need a test load if you're just going to see if it's putting out any current.

So ill. just short the output wires, atleast thats how My teacher did it.

I switched to a new lm317t and it worked right away
Now its running @ 1,22A.
The burning capability stunned me
