Here is something for people using the full 1 Watt of these new diodes.

Download this and use it.

This sign was designed by me in Adobe Illustrator (CS5 production premium suite) ( I am tired as I type this, going to bed)

Maybe it will save a few eyes. ^^

This file is a vector based file so you can use it on 0.5" x 0.5" to full industrial sizes.

Updated: danger 2 is new FDA rating
Danger 445nm class IV is old but is still in use internationally.

These signs are to be used under a public licence.
No sale.

This is for all members to use freely.

One of the best programs out there. I have used it myself. Great work on the warning label man. +1

Good job, just one comment though if you don't mind, can you change it to read "Class 4" instead of "Class IV" the FDA changed those rules long ago.

Thanks

The other designation should read >500mW and
perhaps not Max 1000mW... IIRC Class 4 or IV Lasers
are Lasers over 500mW...
My 445nm Lasers run at over 1000mW...

Good job just the same... Thanks

Everything has been updated.

Enjoy.

I have about 50 other warning labels (laser related)
that I have designed.

FDA / non FDA.

enjoy.

ADD TO IMPORTANT FILES!

got this on my laser... thanks

yes, and as you know this sign is designed so it is infitately scalable :)
I really suggest getting this printed out either silkscreened onto acryllic or onto foil, or you could print out onto a vinyl using a Giclee printer.

Post a pic of it please! I like to gloat over my work :na:

the heat sink is a flat transistor heat sink with a dx 70 mW heat sink mounted to it. and the driver is just a ddl driver. oh and it has a battery witch is disconnected as soon as you plug in the power supply.

^this video is a good representation

How about a close up pic. The video shows the output nicely , but it is difficut to see the convertor.
