Hmm. a150.. Those were discontinued. Wonder if casio ran in to trouble with the diodes at that high of power.

Were the a150s rated brighter overall? I know the a240s and the like were just a resolution increase (I think you told me that..)

Talking about just the B/G component of the lasers; aren't they going to have to raise the current on the Phlatlight LED too (color balance issues) - or is it possible that that's not the bottleneck in the system...

The A150 series was discontinued at the first of the year. The A150 series had a laser array rated at 3000 lumen. They probably just couldn't get enough of them that binned at 3000 lumen

Peace,
dave

a130 = 2000 lumen
a140 = 2500 lumen
a150 = 3000 lumen

The fact that the a150's vanished yet the 130's and 140's are still around.. It was certainly something in the light source that was problematic, since otherwise, they should have been no different than the 130's and 140's

Hi Guys, you may have missed the other thread but this info should be passed on to Grix who already has a spreadsheet going. Pointless posting in two threads. Grix's one has been going a while longer so best put it there. Dave posted it earlier but here's the link again -
