I have seen a few vids and ive heard of people doing it but my 1.2watt 445 from youbreal or w/e his name is isnt doing it. If i focus too much it just burns a hole right through it. And im trying to focus a little past the focal point so that it heats up more area and maybe after a few sec it will set ablaze?

Any help with this? What should i try and ignite first? I seem to burn right through it rather than ignite it. HELP!

Yes I got my laser to ignite printer paper several times. I had to crumple it into a ball then focused it and got flames pretty quickly. Sometimes it didn't ignite though it just turned the paper into ashes. I'm not sure why it worked sometimes but not others, but i'm assuming it just has to do with focusing.

Yes it depends on the focus and the chemicals used in the paper. If it is focused to strong, it burns through the paper.

I also have yobresal's build, I thought mine was underspec aswell, but I finally figured it out

Here's a tip: Try heating a small area of the paper you want to set on fire with the laser a bit away so it's unfocused and the dot is as big as a index finger nail so it turns slightly brown/black, then move the laser closer so the focus point hits the heated paper, and if it burns through, hit the edges where you burnt through, if you make it glow bright orange it would ignite at any second. Give it ~15 seconds and it should ignite.
