C6 build help please.

I know its been talked about a million times.

I just ordered this

will this fit with it? I read in jayrobs post that if i wanted a longer heat sink i would have to drill out the pill.

I would like that heat sink, but all the build tutorials online use the standard sized heat sink :
Copper Heat Sink

I dont want to machine or drill, so would i need to get the standard one? or could I get the larger tapered one?

The extended heatsink fits just fine and is preferable for the C6 as the standard sized sink is pretty small plus you get more room to work with for your module as the standard can be a bit cramped.:beer:

I believe it works, send them a message i'm sure they will answer :) After all they sell the thing, they should know!

I am tripping out on one thing though. in the email i just got telling me it had been shipped, it says my shipping address is unconfirmed?

What does that mean, if anything, and do i need to take any action to mitigate a disaster?

Nope that just means you have not gone through the verification process for your address yet with paypal. On larger orders some vendors will require you to have a confirmed address before they will ship to you.:beer:

Just mount your driver on the inside of the pill thermal glued to the top. (on the inside)

Yes it fits, it sticks out a bit though. :)

Actually, I like the appearance of the extended and tapered heat sink in the S4 host (more than in the C6). Personal preference I guess. :)

Damn, well I hope Ill like it.
I think i would have liked the extended heat sink the best, not the tapered one/
