Default Batteries + Charger problem, Help please and as fast as u can.

So, I have 2 batteries: UltraFire LC 16340 1000mAh 3.6V.
I bought it from OdicForce so I guess they are original.
About the charger, I've got the one with the spring, that can match to small and big batteries.
Anyways, at the first 1 week everything was ok. I was charged the batteries, and the light of the charger did some problems. ( It had green light instead red, and things like that )
Anyway, yesterday I chargered 1 battery, and the light of the charger was red for about 3-4 hours, which means that the battery wasn't charged yet.
I touched the charger, and he was HOT !
I touched the battery, it was also VERY HOT ! ( The + and the - matched ok )
After I was let it to get cold I tried to put it in the laser and he worked REALLY REALLY low. I almost couldn't see the dot.
I tried to charge the second battery to check maybe it'll work, and after 1-2 hours she was also very very hot.

Anyway, after talking too much, I must good batteries the will match my 1.8W laser. ( The small ones, that 2 of them will be like a big one )
Also I need a GOOD CHARGER that won't make any troubles and will match to the batteries.
I don't think I can save my UltraFire batteries.

Sorry for the maddness. I really need your help. I hope I'll order it fast, I miss my laser.
Thanks guys !

I can think of 2 things causing the overheating. You're charging 3.6V batteries in a 3.7V charger, which causes overheating & could possibly damage the batteries OR the charger and/or batteries are bad. It's not likely but also not impossible.

When the batteries are in the charger & the light is green it means the battery is charged. A red light means the battery is charging.

Do you have a multimeter just to check what the end voltage is after they came off the charger?

danefex - I don't know actually. The charger I've got is the one that I got from DealExtreme when I bought the SD-301 Green 100mW laser, before a year ago.
Also, in the first 2-3 charges everything was ok. So ...... :\

ElectroMagneticFreak - No bro, I don't have multimeter.

Now I just need A good batteries and a good charger. That's it.
Thank you !

If you dont know then try looking up what kind of charger you have on DX & scroll down to the specs and you'll see if you have a 3, 3.6 or 3.7V charger.

Right.. you need to replace that charger with a 3.7V charger. There's plenty out there to search & choose from, just spend a little more money on something decent & stay away from the cheap ones to avoid problems like overheating.

Well now you're searching & getting it, good job

Any of those batteries in the links you posted are fine to use, especially the Ultrafire batteries. The Ultrafire chargers are ok also, I've used a lot of them & only had 1 or 2 stop working on me. I dont know anything about the other chargers so I can't say anything about them, but you have to realize with stuff like this - if you're buying something that's less than $6 you're taking the chance of getting something cheap that wont last too long. That's a general principle to keep in mind when ordering stuff like this online, especially from china.

Also dont forget to get the correct voltage batteries for what you need, as well as the charger you're going to use them with (3V, 3.6V, 3.7V)

Yea I know, thanks man.
But I don't know which of them are ok for me. 3V ? 3.6V ? 3.7V ?
I've got the BlitzBuck V3 drvier set to 1.82Amps.
Also, what's the differents between 880mAh and 1000mAh ? What is that mean and which of them I need ? How can I know?

Actually I'm debating between these batteries:
TrustFire Protected 16340 880mAh 3.6V Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries (2-Pack) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
Ultrafire 16340 3.6V Batteries (4-pack) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

The TrustFire are much more expensive than the UltraFire, so maybe they're quality is much better.
I afraid to order again the UltraFire, because of what just happened with that shit charger.

About the charger, I think I'll take that one:
UltraFire 3.0V/3.6V CR123A Charger - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
He looks the best from all of the chargers they have there.

Help with all of my question please, and sorry .
Thank you very much !

All you need to worry about regarding your batteries & charger is getting the voltage on the charger to match the voltage of batteries you're using. Your original problem was overheating, doing this correctly should solve that problem. If you want to get the 3.0/3.6V Ultrafire charger that is fine, just make sure you're using 3.6V batteries so you can correctly & safely charge them

Awesome ! I'll buy that UltraFire charger for sure.
What about the batteries ? Which one is better from the 2 I showed you ?
One of them is 880mAh and the second is 1000mAh.

Thanks bro !
