:thanks: a little scared to put it together and I need to wire some power, supposed to work off a 1s lipo. :thinking:

The seller is in Turkey, but after some research, I found US customers that received product without issue and saw some user videos so, it's legit. the image is just not that good and picks up interference from the motors or something. (just a note my bank's fraud dept. put a lock on my card after I made the purchase, everything was cool after I called and explained, but FYI)

They all pick up some interference from the ESCs. My compass actually shifts heading with more throttle. Still working on that issue. My lipos are 3 cell at 11.1 volts.

That's a trip about the compass, but yeah, makes sense. Good to know. What are you flying? I think you said you had a hexarotor? Is it custom or is it a RTF?
with the battery is sounds bigger than mine for sure :)

Its technically a UAV. Made by 3DRobotics. Check them out. Links up to my computer and sends me flught data and I can send it on gps routs and what not. My battery is 8000mAh.

Oh, I've looking looking into the computer link and GPS stuff. Very cool, very stable. I'll check them out.

I don't know how into it you would be, but this is an interesting open source micro quad copter project. Bitcraze my favorite "hack" is the induction charger ;)

Btw. does anybody know about small buck/boost 1A driver with TTL ? Or boost only ..

Technically doable, kinda awesome in some circumstances, not sure how legal and can cause you a lot of legal trouble (accidentally hitting something you shouldn't, law enforcement deciding it's not legal (even if you win in court in the end)).

Yeah but just like I have the right to shoot whatever weapon I want in this field and I cant shoot at aircraft same goes for a laser. Also my gible physical cant go past horizontal so unless I learn to fly it upside down and all my safety checks fail and I decide to fire the laser I should be fine.

Hey .. RC guys .. maybe you can help me .. this quad I have has accessory port which is controlled from the transmitter. Problem is, I have no idea how it works.
There are 3 wires. Two of them are + and -. I would expect the third to somehow react on the control button .. but it does not. It's 0 volts against minus .. all the time. Any idea ?

Usualy for any servo or channle you have a red black and white. White is your signal wire. That chsnnle may not be activated or inhibited somehow. There should be some voltage change when activated.

Thanks .. hope I did not fry it already as I might have shorted it .. it should be activated, they sell camera to connect to it separately ..
