Hi all,
i was wondering whether you guys know a source where I could get a 452nm (@ 1A) laser from. Its very difficult to get hand on this particular wavelength.

Help is very much appreciated

A huge portion of M-series and other modern multi-mode blue diodes are exactly this wavelength. It is not even remotely rare or difficult to your hands on.

The larger question is where you can buy wavelength binned diodes of *any* wavelength. I don't have an answer for you on that one. You'll probably have to do the binning yourself.

As RHD said most of these can do that wavelength but the wavelength is subject to both running current and temperature. If you have to have the exact wavelength at all times when running the unit best method I have seen is to have a setup that can manipulate the temperature and maintain it at the right point at the current you are running them to get the exact wavelength you want.:)
