Now I have 445nm laser in my laser collection...
And here are some pictures and video I want to share...

Enjoy..

Click on picture to see it in full size...

And video that shows laser in action :)

This laser uses microboost driver adjusted to 817mA and glass lens for red lasers (I wait for my new 445nm lens).
817mA is enough to be more visible than my 150mW O-like green laser.

I used some smoke for pictures and video, but not too much.
Beam is really visible even without smoke.

Outstanding pictures and video! Music went nice with it too.

I noticed we have the same keyboard (is that the Saitek Eclipse II?)

How did you manage to capture the beam like that? what camera are you using? and did you use any special settings or was it on Auto?

You must REALLY love that host lol. Nice build, and awesome pictures!

Heh.
I like UF 501B host because it's cheap, good looking, good quality and because there is enough space for decent heatsink. Or to call it "best buy host"...

Yeah, it's Saitek Ecllipse II...
I use Sony DSC-S750 camera...
It's just about tripod and illumination

Cant the short case pin be soldered to the negative diode pin when using a flexdrive? Why did you go with the wire?

Can you solder with it? :) Of course in a good safety wear!
Awesome beam, I can't wait mine to arrive.
If unfocused, does it burn things in your room? (Clothes, your bed, door)

Very nice job :) I realy like your beam shot with the lasers laying on the table and four diff colors the darker picture, it reminds me of what I should be making for myself :D
Kinda looks like your green needs to be a smidge brighter to be even with the other colors, at least for the camera, It looks realy good though :gj:

The Force is strong with this one. haha. This is exactly what I'm building, except with a TANK007 case with a special Cu heat sink made by Flaminpyro. I'm shooting for an even 900mw output.
