Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

I hate waiting but that extra 2 orders could reduce the total cost of everything. but even still its no big deal, i have everything i need to place the order without him.
as soon as i place the orders for the arrays i am going to place go and buy a ton of bubble envelopes antistatic foam and bags along with containers for everything.
So those 2 orders from Andy will reduce the cost of everything, by how much? that could be interesting; even cheaper diodes for us......cool.

Now if he would only reply back to you.

I think he meant cheaper diodes for himself. I doubt kiyoukan was planning on passing those savings down to us since we've already paid and since he had to absorb many of the initial paypal fees.

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

Oh, it didn't sound that way to me, cause he said the ones that purchased the harvested diodes have paid the extra paypal fees for the arrays that he wasn't expecting; so that had already been taken care of.

Sorry but when someone says "everything" well I take it the way it was said, maybe it was just the way it was worded; but then again maybe he meant what he said......guess we'll find out.

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

there is a lot of money going into shipping. i lose money when i ship out of the us. so i make up for it by shipping in the us.
also i was hopefully getting a X% off the total order the more i ordered but its only to be calculated at the end.

So how long is it expected to take before the diodes arrive at your place and how much longer than that should it be before they reach their final destination ?

Electron you need to lean to edit your posts so you dont double post all the time. To multiquote, just click the
multiquote_off.gif
bar on every post you want to quote except the last post, you click just
quote.gif
on the last one.

It will look like this...

Then just type your replies between the quotes. Like this...

Now if he would only reply back to you.

That would be nice.

I agree!!

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

Some news.
Email after i tried placing my order
"Sorry, but I was advised by CASIO that the parts you needed were not being
made available...."
Now i have a backup company that says they are available and can be ordered within 3 weeks but their price is much higher around 650$.
I am going to try to work that price down or find out what is going on with all this.
Casio is making this very hard.
This dose not mean that this is canceled but that i am going to work on it and if on Monday i cant place an order within a fair price range i am going to issue a refund.
This has been an uphill battle from the beginning.
But in no means have i given up.
I do apologize for the delay, and i am working in my power to see if i can get around them.
I might need people who have projectors of this kinda to save them and prove that we have the units or serial numbers.

I was afraid this would happen. I don't have anything poetic to say like Dave always does other than keep on trying kiyoukan!

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

If I'm not mistaken it was a friend of your little sister Crazy Jay who said something along the lines of
"If it don't burn a hole in the wall then it's fine for my eyes." & topped it off with a cute little smile.
I recall of that line to reinforce why they must be locked up Always.
Only took one time being unlocked for Don't Laze Me Bro's sister to take two lasers to school.
When I do a 1W 445 I think its going to need an electronic button combo lock built into the host. Much better then a keylock IMO, since it can autolock after so many seconds of non-use.

haha I didn't think that posting that would gain so many eyes. Yeah kids are stupid. I used to think that you can put the sun out with a water hose if you went high enough. Couldn't understand the distance at that age nor the amount of water it could actually take

Appreciate all the effort this is taking from you Kiyoukan.
$650 is still less than a projector. If I was getting a whole array I would still be happy with that.

Keep up the good work. I am a patient man, others here seem to be mature. (In fact I have never seen such a great community in years)

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

This is terrible news...

I suppose if even an order can be made no one will get anything in July.

I shouldn't have gone negative into my account... well keep us informed .. I'm sure you will

Hmm sounds like they don't want to let lasers of this power into the hands of
the inexperienced. IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU!! Tinfoil hat --> :tinfoil:

Btw I'm willing to wait a while longer even if you have to get the diodes on ebay .
Come to think of it you might check there for whole projectors.
