Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

@ kiyoukan I had no idea you had trouble finding the Casio part # for the Laser Array, wish I knew, I could have helped you with that; finding those numbers is easy as pie.

I have the full parts manuals for them, and it's a well known national parts center I have purchased from many times over.

I was wondering what Array you were actually going to get, not sure if at the wholesale level there is any price difference; but at MSRP there is not, wholesale can be very different though. So if the XJ-A130 & XJ-A140 Array's cost the same, might be worth it to get the XJ-A140 for some binned? Laser Diodes.

While not conclusive yet, I've been following some of the tests and reading on PL, etc and I thought that Lasers from the XJ-A140 Array put out more power.

As others have said I doubt they made a different diode for it, but the Laser Array part numbers are different.

I haven't been following this thread everyday but I just read you are going with the XJ-A130 Array, I'm sure no matter which one you get, everyone will be happy with them.

Just in case here's both of the part numbers for you;

XJ-A130 Laser Array part # 10365772 2,000 Lumens MSRP $1,280.50

XJ-A140 Laser Array part # 10365773 2,500 Lumens MSRP $1,280.50

Yea they really don't want the public to buy those do they? :)

Re: *445nm lasers* !arrays 550$ and diodes 35$!

I understand now. It is NOT PayPal that is adding the 1.5% "tax." Kiyoukan forgot to factor in the PayPal fees he was going to have to pay. I'm sure that it was easier for him to charge everyone 1.5% "sales tax" than it was to re-do the "products" section of his page.

Kiyoukan had to add it. Otherwise he would have been losing money on each purchase. PayPal didn't do it.

Kiyoukan didn't realize this until after he had received several orders and saw that he was not getting the full $550 or $35.

Peace,
dave
Makes sense now Dave, I thought maybe something was up with PayPal; it's all good.

what is still available?
If your asking what items are still available (single diodes, arrays, half array) unless I am quite mistaken anything is still available as long as you can pay before Wednesday.

I added funds to my PayPal some time ago but it won't clear till Jun 24 (Thu).
Could I pay for 1 diode when my funds clear?

Ah I thought it was actual sales tax (like from in-state purchases) rather than the paypal fees.

Well this is frustrating. Not everybody has payed yet. Cmon people! Then again, if you're reading this you've most likely paid already.

yes i know with so many pms and emails it takes me a while if you see your name as white then just let me know and send your transaction number. there are a few payments that did not give a user name.
