Wow!! I sure hope people are careful with these lasers. Class IV comes with great responsibility. No jewelry, reflective surfaces, mirrors or flammable substances near the laser.

I'm in for 1 diode, can pay as soon as you're ready. How much is shipping? I'm in the US, California.

I'll be trying to order some goggles this week, and if I get the diode earlier than that, I don't expect to run it at high power.

by my count there is only 1 left.
but i am going to check again
All this means is you are going to get one from the second projector
my mind is dead will count when math comes back to me but i think we filled one up and are now in the second. so hope we can get enough to get this done right.

Thursday? Kiyoukan last said he will be placing the order no latter then wednesday so he needs all money before then. He might start accepting money when he wakes tomorrow.

This is such an amazing day for laser fans. My first blue laser was 4mW of 473nm, and cost $800.

Now $550 gets you 24 diodes that are each 300x more powerful. It is amazing how far things have come in 10 years.

May I ask about lenses? Do we receive them aswell? (that one from each diode in projector).

Same with the red diodes. The ~5mW red lasers were big bucks back then. Now you can buy one for under $2, or one that's 40X the power for $40, and its even cheaper to build your own higher power one.

I remember saving up lunch money in jr high school for *months* to get a red laser pointer.
Little 5mW pen pointer cost me a whopping ~$125+. It was the coolest thing ever. I think I got it at Staples.
