Recently we have had a bunch of "fake" account asking the same questions. You already asked if they're are any dangers of using 405/445nm lasers so I don't see why you had to ask again over on this section of the forums. Some might see this as a way to just disguise spam as a serious question. We ask that you use the search tools on the forum before asking questions. Also, we even have a section specifically for safety. If you have real concerns then please head on over there.

Okay well I made a video for you! Not spam at all. Also, I was under the impression the "laser safety" section was refering to eyeware more than anything. I posted this thread in this section specifically because it deals with a blue laser.

OK, I have deleted my trolling accusation.

You may want to try the LPF search bar up top and avoid talking about reckless activity or unsafe practices as they could influence someone young/new and cause them to get hurt, but I admit that I thought you were trolling with so many noob questions that have been answered before, I don't care that much about repeats of repeats, but some members do.

I'm new to most of this. Sorry if I have asked questions that have been asked before. I just wanted some reassurance on a few of these topics

Yea, there's no UV in the blue diodes so no skin cancer risk that I'm aware of, they actually use them for some therapies.

There is chemical retina damage that can occur with over exposure so wear your laser safety glasses that attenuate the wavelength you are working with.

I like to record videos of burning so I can watch them safely on my TV/PC/laptop and enjoy the pretty blue beam without damaging my eyes.

You just can't see all this blue this with your naked eyes, but it looks cool on the pc screen.
This is a NUBM06 with the factory GBall lens left on, they make fun desktop burners but laser safety glasses are a must.

I like that idea.
So the NUBM06 and the NUGM01T are gball approved. Wasn't someone supposed to throw a 3x BE on one for us?

I'm in the process. I have to drill out the lens holder a bit first. Gimme a sec and I'll see if I got anything else:)

Edit: Whoa! Just tried it out and it has made an amazing difference!! Imma post it my build thread in a few minutes.
