Yup, they are basically drop in modules, same as survival lasers used to sell. Actually even easier with this setup.

I have a 3.2W laserbee and would be willing to meter as well. I think IE has a more powerful LPM though so if that's the case then he is the better option. I do have a bench supply and a multimeter so I can test its voltage and current draw if desired.

Hey guys, I'm buying this one

3W 445nm Camoflayge Laser Kit Blue Visible Beam Focusable Lens 4 Mode Driver | eBay

Who wants to test it? I'll ask the seller if he'll ship it to you and then I'll pay you to ship it to me. cONUS please as this'll be extra dough for me.
I'm working til 6 and then I'll make the purchase.

I'll be willing to test a unit from the seller or trippy, whichever.

I have a Coherent FieldmaxII that I bought brand new directly from Coherent.

As far as I know, my FieldmaxII is the newest and most recently calibrated LPM on LPF

I sent one of my LPM's to him. He should have it this weekend. It's a Laserbee II 3.2W which should work well for him to compare several different power and wavelength units against his 150W head.:)

Rick asked me to post the following;

I have good news the rep from Ophir is coming through the area in a week or two and side he would come buy and test my LPM I can have him to look at yours while he is here.He is going to email me soon to let me know the day.if you know some people that would like to have there LPM tested I will video it all for them but they would have to pay shipping back.

Idk, but to me it looks like he is doing everything possibly to verify the outputs he is getting.

The guy seems to genuinely desire to make a good name for himself and that I have to respect.

So the 150W Ophir LPM is accurate afterall. The laser exceeded the limit of the Lasersbee 3.2W LPM. The conclusion is that the 3.56W laser is real. The diode must be exceptional efficient.

One remark : there must be some distance between the sensor and the laser to prevent external influences. It could throw off the reading.

Seams legit, for $225 its not a bad deal. Might have to get one and test it on my Ophir.

Well I want one. And let's see if we can get him un-banned, we need a guy like this around here, he would be a good asset to the forum if he would like to join us and the forum is all about bringing great minds alike and not keeping them out. Who agrees?
