No you need a test load. No better option. You can build one pretty cheap or buy a premade one. Not having a solid secure connection between your diode and driver can lead to diode death like putting a DMM in there.

I think the driver is fckin doomed, Now without filtering cap it starts as previosuly but after few secs starts laser starts to flicker and diode dimms very fast. I guess diode is fine but driver is doomed

If you don't want to deal with setting up your driver grab a driver like a preset X-drive. If you do get an X-drive ditch the filtering cap as I am not sure what that is doing to it and a proper laser driver will not need it.:beer:

At higher than 1,30 amps the diode dimms after 3 secs, I guess this driver is faulty. Anyway, thanks for HUGE help DTR, You always help everybody haha ! Have a nice day
