That is unfreakinbelievably awesome! And it looks fairly simple to do overall. I do believe I will have to do something similar at some point. Thanks for the pics!

EDIT: I have a bid in for a 20mm dummy round on eBay now.....

Totally awesome, that makes one hell of a chamber laser bore-sighter! Very nicely done!

4.0mA SXD with ramp up

hope you folks enjoy this :))

That is amazing. Did you build this or MrCrouse?

I'm confused about the specs, though. You say 4.0mA, but I'm guessing you mean 4,000mA or 4A? Also, 2,400mW seems very low for an NDB7A75 with a G2 lens. That is around the 1.7A level in DTR's tests. Do you mean 4,200mW? These diodes are capable of over 5 watts. Regardless, this is incredible, and I can't say I would have done much different. The primer cap being the switch adds the ultimate finishing touch to the build. I want to build one SO BAD now. Lol.

I would like to have more info on the switch in back. I have two different dummy 20mm rounds on the way here, considering trying to build a similar laser.

Well it's a simple latching switch and the bottom of the host was machined to fit the switch. I don't know what the rating in Amp the switch is though.
