Blue Hotlight Kit
This is the Hotlight kit which has become very popular as sort of a "poor man's" alternative. Sacrificing coolness for affordability and functionality has made this a very popular kit for beginners and veterans alike.

Host
The host is all aluminum, anodized blue. Features a reverse style clicky switch mounted on the side.

Heatsink
The Hotlight's heat sink is 6061 aluminum measuring 1.09" outer diameter and .6" long CNC machined by Pontiac. Pontiac cut the outer dimensions and I made the Aixiz hole and set screw hole. The center has been bored out to snugly fit a 12mm Aixiz module.
The heat sink is also fitted with a 6-32x1/8" set screw drilled laterally through the heat sink to lock your Aixiz module in place.

Batteries
The Hotlight host is originally designed for 3xAAA batteries and comes with it's original 3xAAA holder.
This host is often used with 3x10440, 1x18500, and 1x22600

I'm going to find out at school tomorrow when exactly we're going to be starting clinicals...if we're not starting this week then I am gonna do a run of kits.....something big...like the one i am giving away. I found a USA source for them at about the same price so it would be fun to do a run of 10 or so of them....

maybe even include the makings of a driver mounted on the bottom of the sink.
Like a voltage regulator, 1ohm resistor, cap for voltage spikes and a diode for reverse polarity protection....have it all mounted on the bottom of the heat sink.....

Matt the Polished host is almost finished. It's taking a lot longer than I thought, so that this may be a one off. If I can find a faster method I may do more in the future, but 30+ man hours is too damn long. Even if I get $250.00 I'm still losing out with this much effort involved. I send you some preliminary pictures tomorrow.

BTW: you may not find this particularly funny, BUT,,, the wifie-poo nearly shot me when she saw the credit card statement. Not for the amounts spent, but for the recipients. I had to tell her "woa! check the spelling, toots", then she hit me...

Moh, can I have a hex-key, this time?
The 1st kit I got from you didn't include one, and although
I have a bunch of them, none is small enough.

lol, Yeah i just noticed....

well that's that. I would offer up another 20, but that would be too much work for me (40 sinks) :D

I'll do another sale when Pontiac finishes my sinks :D

weird.... it didn't say I had edited it but my last message showed up under your quote. When i removed it, then it showed that i had edited it..

I'm still getting used to having an edit button on every post...i'm use ot clicking quote, but now that space has the edit button in it now.
