Mohrenberg I would like to purchase a Guidesman Kit with a Focus Adapter. I was also wondering if I could buy some extra silicon wire that I could use for another build I am doing as well?

I wanted to be all cool, So I added "buy it now" links to my stuff. They will take your directly to paypal checkout to order the items, so you won't have to wait for pm's ect....

Also, instead of raising prices, i added shipping prices. most of the time it will simply add a $2-3 during checkout.

Hey, I was wondering how to remove the plastic pill right below the heatsink. Is it like superglued or...? How should I take it out? Btw I don't have a dremel or anything to drill it out for that matter... I'm talking about the guidesman host. Thx.

I just grab it with a pair of plyers and pull it out. You don't need it so it doest matter if it breaks

yeah i normally just stick a screw driver in the center hole and pry it out. it's normaly just a rubber stopper or a plastic disk, doesn't matter if it breaks.

Strange man....

The Saik kits will be ready as soon as they get here....
I've already got the massive aluminum stock on hand, so i just need the hosts with me....

I've also contracted a company to stamp 3/16" thick aluminum disks for me. I'll be making them into focus adapters.
This will allow me to create and sell them for $5-7 ea., I'll also be getting a knurling tool for them as well.

Right now i've got to cut the thin tiny disk by hand with a portable band saw and manage to get them centered on the lathe to smooth out the ends.....it's a huge pain in the ass.
But with the disks pre-formed, i'll just have to drill it twice, thread it and it's done.

Oh sure now you make the Saik kits after I build my 445 in a guidesman. :p Then again I've decided I need "more powah!" than I can get with an unsinked flex at 800ma so hmm. Of course I could move the 445 into the Saik kit and build another red since "only" have one red other than my DIY 4mw pen. BAH! Decisions! :banghead:

Either way I think I'll be getting a focus adapter once you get them made. I really don't want to get my fingers near a beam that's pushing close to 2W.
