I ordered in early February, and he gave me a tracking number mid febuary. I have not received by stuff, and when I track it, it says "electronic shipping info received", which means he forgot to take my stuff to the post office > >r >

This is great... I been looking for an excuse to get me going on DIY lasers.

I am sending a PM with a modest order.

Thanks!

Hi rkcstr, This is phoenix77. I've sent you several PM's & at least 1 Email about my order, but haven't gotten a reply from you at all. I know you must be terribly busy, but my name isn't even on the latest post on customer order sequence. In case NONE of my other messages got through, I will re-place my order again here. Could you please build me 2(two) 150mW driver boards? My Email address is:fusedpulse@yahoo.com With shipping costs (to Indiana) the total cost should be $12.00, is this correct? Please send me an Email or PM to let me know that my order has been received & will be processed OK? Thank you so much, I can't wait to get my hands on them, they look like tiny works of art! THANKS/phoenix77

He makes the boards to the mA you request. The mW all depends on your laser diode.

Default Re: Micro-Drive laser driver fits Aixiz module

Are you trying to boost the power from the 15mw green by hooking the diode to one of these drivers? If so you'll be disappointed.. The crystal an your green is the main factor of the output power. You may be able to boost the power a little, but too much and you'll blow the diode and/or burn the crystal. If you simply move the diode from the green to another housing without the crystal, all you'll get is uncollimated, invisible, dangerous IR.... The diode is an IR diode, the crystal turns the IR(well some of it) into green light.

Check the images on the firt page.. no pot. BUT you can order the resistor kit for an extra 25 cents, and get all the resistors for the different values. Just ask for a driver with no resistors soldered on and the kit, and make it to the value u need

But again, make sure you get the right value for that green, if possible. I asked kindof the same question a while back and if i remember right, with the voltage drop, this driver won't supply enough voltage to the IR diode unless you are powering with more than aaa batteries.

Also, for 15mw the current driver may be putting out 200ma or so.. most greens use the same diode for many different power levels, it's all in the crystal. I know the DX200 green seems to draw almost 700ma- for only 180 or so mw of green......

Hi glaserfan, In your opinion, do you think I can get away with a 50 mW driver? With the original PCB I had adjusted the 'pot' up to the point where it would light RED HEADED matches(NOT SHARPIED), & pop balloons almost immediately! Thanks for ur help phoenix77 PS Although the resistor idea is a good one, it's beyond my current abilities with a soldering iron & electronics knowledge! So do you think the 50's will work?

50mA driver** I suppose you mean. 50mA wont drive any red or green modules. You really need to know more about the diode in there to know how many mA it can take. How many mW is the laser sopost to put out?

Originally it was a 15 mW Wicked Lasers Classic But I adjusted the 'pot' & then could light un-blackened (RED) matches, & pop balloons in 1 or 2 seconds
