I have no choice really. I have already ordered all other components ;D

But the hosts from DX are back ordered so I guess it will be at least 3 weeks until I get them

I ordered 2 drivers from you on Oct 2.  I also tried a few times to find out the status of my order, with not much luck.  Thank you for this update, i will continue to wait and fondle my incomplete BR daily with anticipation of seeing it come to life!   [smiley=happy.gif]

Just a curious question - do you assemble the boards yourself, or do you pay someone to do that for you? ;)

i think we should all just be grateful that dr. lava is even making these. im sure it isnt easy for him. given the amount of replys to this thread lately means there are probably a shit ton of orders. i havent been charged for my order yet but i know they are on the way to lava. so i think its safe to make the assumption that he paid for these up front from his own money so as not to charge us untill shipped. im sure thats not easy for him..</rant>


i just want to say lava drive kicks ass and i thinks its a great product.
definitely worth the wait.

BY the looks of it I'm guessing he has them professionally done, but that is just a guess. It would take a while to assemble a bunch of these things by himself.

Hi, I originally assembled them but it was a huge pain and took about 35 minutes each by hand, mostly due to how tiny the parts are. Now I pay up front for batches to be made and tested, then ship them out :) I'll keep you informed on the progress!

JX88 ordered a flexdrive to be sent to my address more than 2 weeks ago because i will be assembling a laser for him. Will the driver come with a goody? :D

But yeah i paid on PP so if you need the address again or info than just pm me DL and i send it to you.

but yeah mine been more than 2 weeks, so atleast now i can have an estimate time of delivery. :)

I don't think anyone is ungrateful towards Dr Lava, I am most certainly grateful to be able to buy his drivers, and i would certainly wait as long as it takes.  More timely communication of product delays would be more appreciated by all his customers, I'm sure.  He has a great product that is in high demand, and communication keeps everyone happy  ;)

If I was drlava and had hundreds of flexdrives in front of me everyday just staring at me, taunting and mocking me, I'd be far too tempted to turn them into hundreds of lasers ;D Is that how you feel drlava? lol

Thanks for the update. Considering the delay, I'm glad I ordered earlier than I needed to. (Making Christmas presents...) I definitely still want the 2 lavadrives ordered on the 5th... And 'Bonus' sounds nice too ;)

Heyyy..
When I ordered my flexdrives 2 months ago it took you 2 weeks to ship them, and I didn't get a bonus :(
