Might be easier with a built that houses the driver in the host. This build houses the driver inside the heatsink...

Read up on proper eye protection if you have not done so already.

The only problem is, I have a back log of orders. I am at least a month out for shipping new orders.

I hope to eventually get caught up, so that I can ship relatively fast like I used to. (before the 445 diode days)

This has to be my favorite laser build ever!
The only thing that confuses my is that in the pricing and options section, it says that the gun metal host costs $23. Does this include the heatsink/contact board? Because it also says the the heatsink is $55. I was wondering if that was the price of just buying the heatsink and not the rest of the kit, or if it meant that was the price of the heatsink and the host price does not cover the heatsink. Please post back.

The heatsink is large, and is a lot of machine work to make. It also includes the battery contact board that I will fit to the heatsink. The price of the heatsink with contact board is $55 dollars...

But yes, this kit is my best kit as far as heatsink mass, host quality, and easy of assembly...

That says that the heatsink is included in the basic kit. Does that mean that when I buy the $23 gun metal host, it includes the heatsink? or does not include the heatsink?

A basic kit means that there is no 'Hot' option or anything else besides the host and the heatsink...

If you just buy the host, that is not a kit. It is just a host. I'll fix it so that it is not so confusing...
