First Build complete, Blu-ray 4171 build. No LPM to test power but with the glass mod I can feel this thing burn my skin. With just the Axiz module it didn't pop the balloon but put a hole in it letting all the air out, the kids thought that was cool. I will post some better pics when I get them.

Edit: Added a new Youtube video.

Nice job! Especially for a first build!

I remember my first build... It was a box style with DDL driver.

I still have some box style lasers!

JayRob's kits are amazing!!!

 JayRob, your kits are amazing! I've been reading all this thread and I can see how everybody is happy with your kits, I wanted to build one of this but sorry I did not know about these kits before so I bought a kit from another source. I thought the heat sink they were offering was yours, but when I received it I noticed it was different; It was the one called the big chunk, anyway I went ahead and put everything together.
In the near future I will be ordering one of yours.

Here are the pictures. :D

I made mine this morning, the 4171 build, my first ever and its great!!! Burns good, lights red matches and cuts tape well. I need to get some batteries with a little more juice in them but it's running well now. It was really well built and the instructiuons couldn't have been any better, Jayrob even answered a few of my noob questions when I had them. I'll put up some pics after I burn some more stuff :D

I showed a couple of the pro's and the owner at Radio Shack and they were impressed with Jayrob's machining quality and technique, I pointed them here ;)

It's a very easy build too! :)

Bottles, I shipped your 3405/AixiZ version 2 'Hot' option kit (and other items) today. (Monday)

There are some important 'tips' in the instruction sheet that I included...
