I got my heatsink today. :) The metal work on this actually looks pretty cool (Looks like it takes alot of work). When I picked up the package, it didn't feel like anything was in there. I opened it up and found the heatsink and your tips too. Its very lightweight and super solid, Nice Job! Can't wait until my Blu-Ray adventure starts ;).

Thanks alot,

Good to know it got there, and that you like it! Have fun with your build!

microtronix, your heatsink is in todays mail. (Thrusday)

Eric, yours too!

daguin, I just finished your heatsinks. I'm going to drop them off at the Post Office today...

Looks like we may be seeing some more high powered builds from daguin! :D

Hey Dave, I sure would be interested in your comments about the new heatsink and MXDL side button build tutorial (for sku 5387).

For those who have not seen the new design, here's the tutorial:

I don't suppose you have any extra 5387 or 5095 hosts that you would be willing to sell with the respective heat sink? I don't really wanna wait for shipping from DX. :D

It just so happens, that I have one 5095 host. It cost me $10.57.

Host - $11
Heatsink - $23
Shipping and handling - $6

Please specify the module size... AixiZ, or Meredith.

Total = $40 bucks. PayPal: jayrob@inreach.com

I've got an extra 5387 with heat sink. You can have it for $37 shipped in the US.

No problem. I usually order one more than I plan on using in case I screw something up. If you don't need it, I will find a use for it ;)

Im so lazy, I changed my DX order to 2* SKU 46's instead of the side button one, and I couldnt be bothered re-ordering a side button one.

I will one day...

Jay

It does indeed. I had an idea:
Ordering 2 of your heatsinks, and mounting a BR in one sku.46 and a Red in the other. I'll get to that when I get some more cash to be spent :p

I got the heat sink today (that's 9 days shipping to NL)

It works great and I also like how you slightly beveled the (would be) sharp edges on the front.

Thanks doing business with you.

Thanks for the feedback Zom-B, and for letting me know it got there. Man... 9 days! I did not expect it to take that long. It must have gotten held up for one reason or another...
Jay

Oh... 2 days were the weekend, so 7 working days from the U.S. to the Netherlands... sounds about right.
