No problem amk. AixiZ module again? Hey, did you get your blu-ray host yet?

I figure you now notice the suttle differences in the two different heatsink designs. One red AixiZ coming your way. PayPal $23 dollars to jayrob@inreach.com

This is kind of off topic, but how do you give rep? There is no + or - button on the page and I've tried using tons of different browsers. (I am using a Mac though.) Any suggestions?

u cant give rep until you are a certain class laser (your post count)

ARG!! TRAITOR!! HE USES MERIDITH!! jk jk

every time I think about trying out the Meridith, I cringe at the price... maybe later...

jay, you should sell other stuff. shipping from you to me takes 1 day MAX! it would be sooo awesome if you manufactured and sold MXDL hosts... (tired of waiting 2 weeks from DX)

as usual, i'm lovin th' sink!!

regards,

amk

Well amk, as you probably noticed, I do sell the complete build with choice of modules. You must be talking about selling the MXDL host with just the pre-built driver and heatsink?? That's most of the work! With the grinding that I do on the MXDL aluminum driver mount, plus driver parts and stuff, the driver takes me just as long, or longer to make as the heatsink does. Those two steps are the most time consuming for me.

I feel that it is better to do the complete build. Because I want to be able to test the driver before and after mounting and connecting the LD. So far though, the only mishaps that I have had, are with the harvesting and mounting of the diodes. So far, no problems with the driver builds. Glad you like your heatsinks...

daguin, your twins will be delivered shortly! I will include a couple of 3 ohm resistors too. I'll have them in the mail for you on Monday. You will enjoy this build. There are a few 'tips' that are important to take note of when using these heatsinks with the MXDL. I always include hard copies of these two documents with the heatsinks.

P.S. You will need a 1.5mm Allen wrench for the set screws...
