OK so what would the total price be? im getting the 99 dollar casio projector diode built into a module also and what tools will i need to make this? is the MMS or whatever manditory because all i can get is a soldering iron

Hi,

Please just send me a private message and I will give you all the information needed.

Including links to the proper safety glasses, diode pre-installed into module with lead wires, etc...

Just leaving some feedback for this 1 i received it today everything was of exceptional quality had abit of trouble putting it together but jayrob helped me out via pm

Hardest part of the entire thing was soldering the leads together because the leads from driver are pretty short but apart from the soldering everything else was a breeze

Definetly worth purchase and very happy as my first laser

Thanks again jayrob look forward to purchasing from you again

Glad your build went well! :)

About the leads, if you got the diode/module that I linked to you from DTR, then it had leads on the diode as well. So it should have been easy to just solder the diode leads to my driver leads...

But in any case, sounds like you got it! :gj:

I love this host I really wish I had the money! You should definitely offer more side switch hosts:) I love your 10280 keychain host.

would it be possible to do a green build with an Osram PLP520-B1 in your large maglight monster kit? I want to do this in a 3D MAGLIGHT. for a 250mw green. would i buy the module with driver or does your hot option have the driver included. i would like the copper heatsink with the key switch and the voltage monitor.

So for a voltage monitor option, it's best to go with 2 X Li-Ion cells...

If you want the length of a 3D Mag host, then I can make a spacer to use with 2 X Li-Ion cells.

So I believe that's a 5 volt diode correct? If so, then we can use a custom current X-Drive buck driver.

Or if you want to get one with the driver installed, I think he uses a MicroBoost correct? In that case, you would just skip the voltage monitor, and use 3 X NiMH cells for your supply...

What mA's do you want to feed the diode?

Send me a PM!

It is around a 7V forward on the diode. A boost will be the best solution say a microboost or x-boost. Maybe a stubby version would be a better fit..:)

Oh 7 volts?

Obviously I have not built with one yet, but I'm thinking that if it's a 7 volt diode, you can probably also go with 3 X Li-Ion's and an X-Drive buck driver. Especially if you wanted a 3D sized Mag build...

That would work too.

Ok so Triumphrid3r,

If you want the voltage monitor, you can go with a Stubby, and get the diode with driver from DTR...

Or if you want the 3D size Mag host, then you can go with an X-Drive with 3 X Li-Ion's. (no voltage monitor)

Hey, Jayrob, I need a couple mag light batteries for your full upgrade version. What would a pair cost? And do you have them in stock?
