My unit arrived yesterday afternoon (I picked it up this morning )

I am still trying to figure out how am i suppose to add the LCD to that meter... i want a under 150 meter with display dont need data logging... and i really love your diy design with the blue and red board but too expensive for me... and of course must be able to reach 2W - 2.5W in readings if not pointless also... do you think its physically possible to have this sort of deal in my lifetime?

Your Post #122 clearly stated that you wanted a LaserBee 2.5W USB too....

You are not supposed to add an LCD to the LaserBee 2.5W USB nor do we
state that you can...:thinking:

If you read the first post on this Thread you will see that this LaserBee 2.5W
USB only LPM does not have the option to add an LCD...

As I stated in the PM I replied to you last week you would need to get a
LaserBee with LCD from our Website or on eBay... like this one...

LaserBee I (1000mW) 1Watt Laser Power Meter +Thermopile on eBay.ca (item 150586581037 end time 10-Apr-11 13:11:39 EDT)

Other than that... you should maybe buy an Alpha in your lifetime..

If you want an LCD get the one they have on ebay! I was contemplating on the USB one or the LCD and after hearing what Jerry said about the LCD one, i made up my mind. Both really good LPM's, both have the good points. I wanted a lcd with some degree of portability so thats why i got what i got. 9V battery and bam! your good to read some lasers.

Laserbee: yea i considered the one you recommended however, i realise that i dont care much for outputs below 1W, which is why i wanted one that could reach measurements up to 2W at least... and your reply was to get the version 1.5 one... which i also considered but realise that the price tag was kinda out of my reach... best solution i thought so far was to get a HLPM with the DMM... but instead of the DMM i could buy those DIY digital voltmeter with nice lcd display or led display.. for me its more for looks i guess which is why i like mine to have a display so that when i set it up on my table it looks nice =)

stevie: is your solution for me still the same after reading this reply? if so, could you paste me the link... my budget is preferable below 150... but might stretch to maximum 200 if its really really nice!!!

We don't sell a 1.5 anything...:undecided:
Like I said before... you could get an Alpha LPM in your
price range...
