and for some reason the dutch customs decided to NOT let me pay any taxes! i already had 40 euro ready to pay! im having a really really awesome day!

Heh nice. Canada Post updated the tracking info on mine today saying that it was delayed on 7/5. Thanks guys! You're even slower than the USPS updating things.


edit: That's not meant to be a slam on Jerry or his products. He's been great to deal with. I was just being impatient and blowing a raspberry in Canada Post's general direction.

You can forget the Tracking number on your package..
That is not a Tracking Number... it is a delivery confirmation
number.... It will not update...

It seems that CP is still backlogged...:cryyy:

Ah. The USPS's delivery confirmation numbers are more or less pseudo tracking numbers. You get updates generally only when it passes through a major sort facility and when it reaches your local PO and is out for delivery. Oh well no big deal as long as it gets here sometime soonish (i.e. faster than a package from DX).

Lets see.....

Under normal conditions... (not after a 2 week strike) it
usually takes between 5 and 10 business days for a
package from Canada to go through US customs and
get handed over to the USPS for delivery and then get
delivered...

It has only been 3 business days since your package was
handed over to Canada Post...
You still have a bit of waiting to do.... IMO:whistle::beer:

Mine shipped on the 5th and arrived Yesterday (Saturday the 9th), which pretty much amazed me!

And I gotta say, I love it!

THANKS JERRY ! I recieved the USB 2.5 LPM on Sat the 9th I set it up and used it all evening Sat & Sunday. This meter works super could not be any happier! I am disappointed in quite a few of the lasers that I have been collecting, they really do over spec them. I do know this meter to be just about right on I tested it against my nova laser with known output of 200mw, and it's right there. A really good deal for anyone that want a power meter at a way affordable cost! GOOD JOB... By the way how long should you run the test for? Untill the climb levels out or untill the laser blows. lol... I had that happen to a couple. I guess the duty cycle was about 25 sec.

Hey Rob....
glad to hear that you like your new "Toy"...;)

at 1000mW it takes about 40-50 seconds to get a stable
reading... we use the 1000mW as a response time standard
for the LaserBee products..

Preferably until the power line levels out AND your Laser DOESN'T
blow....:D

Well there was a surprise (actually two) waiting for me when I went to check the mail. One was my LaserbBee LPM and the other was the Argon laser I bought from daguin. Unfortunately the third box with the power supply is MIA....

I'll read the manual once I find a computer that I can put that ^%$#^*( mini-CD in. ;)

Man... I still have computers that use 1.44 floppies....

I always have a 1.44 Floppy USB Drive and a CD/DVD USB
Drive to be backward compatible for all the old programs
that I paid big $$$ for over the years that are supplied on
those media....

If anyone is willing to pay the extra costs I can always send
the CD data on a USB Flash Drive...:whistle:
