Optotronics Product Details

You would still need an adapter.

SuiraM also had some ideas on a finer focus...
using an additional lens (#107-111 in this thread).

I tested your lens assembly last night ...

it passed the Red laser test with flying colors.

It was mailed in padded envelope today.

Soon, you should be enjoying the power and narrower beam.

Hello There. I have the new style 200mw red laser and was wondering if you have any lenses that would work? As of right now the dot and beam definitely could use improvement. Anyways, just let me know if there's anything you can do for me. Thanks!

this lens will give an improvement on blu-ray and red lasers. This is posted by LarryDFW on the first page of this thread:

Arenared,
I have a fully machined host that I designed specifically for an 8x diode and flex drive. It is customizable to your cosmetic desires. It allows the diode to be pressed directly into the host, no need for an Aixiz. Will work great with this lens assembly. Powder-coating is available. PM for info, Arenared.

Yes I am aware of that but how would I install it into my laser? I see no way to remove the lense.

Most of the 200mw Reds I've seen ....

use an Aixiz lens assembly for economic reasons.

They are 9mm in diameter (0.357")

The less expensive models use an Aixiz plastic lens (~26% power loss)

The better models should have a glass lens with 3 elements (~15% power loss).

The best hand-built models, would have a single aspherical, short FL Hi-Power lens ..(~5% power loss)
or a Meridith lens AR coated for Red lasers only.

There is NO trick, if a MOD see's it as worthy, it will be stickied.

My build/repair thread got stickied in like 2 weeks
