Cant wait! Got everything else ready and looking at when I'm gonna have free time to build this, I may be building a second for a friend afterwards!

I have finished Flaminpyro's, Cheech's, tysonc1979's and netwave's drivers. I am working on the rest.

I have sent PMs with payment info to Cheech and netwave. I will send a PM to Flaminpyro and tysonc1979 as soon as I have figured out what the shipping will be.

I have no idea. I have a "100mw" o-like module but it only put out 20 or 30mW (it sucks!!!), and that's not nearly enough to achieve white. I suggest you get the brightest green module you can find that operates at 600-700mA.

Also edit: my mistake, I meant a red LCC or LOC diode at 391mA, not 491.

Thanks! I thought that was a bit high, but figured maybe something had changed since I built my red pointer a couple of years ago :).

DO you think you o-like was a bad unit? Or is that after all the loses from optics?
I'll get the 150 if I need, but have read other posts about the 50 being too bright.

I can't wait to get this build started! so cool!

I definitely got a bad unit, it puts out 30mW tops before the optics. It used be around 50mW until I tried to give it 1A which degraded it. That was before I had the 445nm diode, and used a phr, even then it was a struggle to keep up to make white.

Can someone w/ Chroma do a plot w/ 130mw of 642nm being the limiting factor?
and 445 for the blue.

I run linux and dont have enough room on my XP vm drive, and can't get it to run in my Win7 vm...

thanks!

here you go.

you simply need more red, or redder red, as this is the closest i can get it to white, and i ended up spending far too much time on it.
