I got my 405-G-1 lens with both normal aperture, and smaller 445nm aperture.
As usual I got next day shipping, it's nice to have you in the same state

Your 445nm smaller aperture does make a considerable difference. When compared to the normal sized 405nm aperture. Plus a nice 7% increase in power over aixiz glass

Still the aixiz 405 glass lens beats anything I have seen yet, for a nice clean beautiful dot

Yep... Same results as I got for 445nm... And I mentioned the same feelings in my lens comparison thread...

But try that small aperture mod in a blu-ray! You will be impressed...

Jayrob, if my 445 nm diode is already pressed into the aixiz module is it still possible to change out the acrylic for the 405 g 1?

Sure...

The lenses just thread into the AixiZ module. You can change out lenses in a matter of seconds. Just unscrew one lens, and screw in the other! Send me a PM if you would like a 405-G-1!

I don't have an AZIX module, but would so love to have one of these. Can you work with me on this. Just tell me what you need from me. I like the updated lens solution. At these powers, my GOD. And shape, let alone composites.

These lenses give the most power for blu-ray or 445nm, but the AixiZ 445 lenses have a better looking dot. See lens comparisons here:

Well I was going to ask about the differences between the Aixiz 405 vs. the 405-G-1 for 445nm diodes but it looks like this forum has already answered that for me. I think I'll coninue to use the Aixiz 405 until I get enough money for modified 405-G-1 (or 2) later on. The Aixiz does produce a nice clean dot
