| Class 1M Laser |
UPDATE: NO LONGER SELLING COMPLETE LASER BUILDS - However I do sell a very nice HOST that makes it very easy to assemble a laser. Simply connect the wires to the diode pressed in aixiz head and tighten the set screw. These Red and Blu-Ray hosts are very sleek and comfortable in your hand. The hosts are very nicely machined with four colors to choose from. The laser is powered by 2 rechargeable CR2 batteries and is drivin by the famous Rkcstr Micro-Drive. The driver is protected within a "capsule" to protect it and the wires from being twisted or broken/shorted. The drivers will be preset to any current you choose. Default current will be 250mW for Red and 130mW for Blu-Ray. You also have the choice of either a black or silver lanyard. The pot is even accessable for adjustments. $75 Shipped WORLD WIDE That includes: Choice of BLACK BLUE RED or SILVER host Choice of BLACK or SILVER lanyard 2x Rechargeable CR2 Batteries Rkcstr Driver Preset to any current. Custom machined heatsink Easy STEP by STEP Pictorial. You can buy Red modules here http://laserpointerforums.com/laser_...ad.php?t=40389 $13 shipped http://hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_ id=2 $23.38 You can buy Blu-Ray modules here http://laserpointerforums.com/laser_...ad.php?t=40389 $13 shipped http://hightechdealz.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_ id=4 $23.38 You can usually search around the forum and find them for $17 sometimes cheaper. I have to figure out if I'm allowed to sell modules along with my hosts. Someone please fill me in if you ACTUALLY know. | Class 1M Laser | Is he still selling them? He was practically giving them away. They are very nice builds though, I don't have Jake's but I have one from Matt and in my opinion my design looks more elegant and feels firmer in my hand. Here's a size comparison.

i thought focus to infinity is all the way screwed in?

| Class 1M Laser | Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that focusing to infinity is where you get the same size dot no matter how far away. When you get the beam as straight as possible. With the loc and that aixis glass lens that point is about the 1/2 way point. Now with the blu-ray, I know they are screwed in much closer.

selling TO the US doesn't seem to be the problem, it's selling IN the us thats gets you...... and thats what i was told by dan hewett when i said i was shocked to hear from the FDA when chinese laser companies are shipping in 1000's of lasers every week |

| Class 1M Laser | This is what I was wondering and I thought exporting lasers doesn't classify as being "sold."

quick question, that blue ray laser in the last video is set to 130Mw correct? My concern is this: do blue diodes burn more easily than read LOCs of a similiar Mw... because i have a red LOC at 450Ma and it doesnt cut tape like that unless i focus it down to a pinpoint. and its all wired up corectly and measures a semi-steady 445-452Ma. and since lasers all burn different due to color... lets just use electrical tape as a ground example. will a 130Mw blue ray diode burn better than a 450Ma red LOC? now that i think about it i AM using a crappy acrylic lens... i been itchen for one of them nifty modded lenses, but i gotta wait a bit. thank you in advance for the information! ~Dark EDIT, just noticed the talk about the FDA or whatever... im having a friend send me an unassembled laser kit as he wants me to put it together for him... now i've shipped working lasers before that were well above 5mw and never ran into a problem, but i had also never seen anyone mention that you COULD get in trouble... would i be risking my friends laser by shipping it to him assembled and in host? the tape was stretched so it cut really easily. the fda is concerned with selling lasers and importing them in the us, its not illegal to have one. |

Howdy Those items look great. Have you shipped to (within?) Europe? Is the lack of assembly a USA thing - and could I get an assembled blu-ray to Sweden? many thanx! |
