WOW - I am sorry to see this is still going on... I had hoped to get back and check-in to see that everyone had their lasers.

Re: FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

I want to let people know who are still waiting for their paid orders, that I had an email from Igor.
He is telling that he will send my bluray with the next shipment(I don't know when but I can think that it's been built ;)).

We can consider that he is getting back to old good days slowly as he started to repyl emails.
I said slowly because at the end of his email he says he has to get back to work which shows that he is still so busy.

Hope we are approaching to a happy end.

Re: FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

Ok, i'm back now. I had an opportunity to finish all the outstanding (real) work at once, set up all three new locations of my main customer, and i took it, cos it allowed me to take two weeks off work now, as opposed to going back every week and wasting time on the road.

Now that i put everything else aside, i think i will need approximatelly four days to wrap things up here..

After that i will take some time, to try to make up for the waiting some of you had to endure. I already gave some suggestions in the emails. I'm offering free work to those from batch two, who waited. In the end only one thing matters to me - that everyone is happy. And i will do whatever it takes to accomplish just that. I want to make up for your worries and your waiting.

If someone didn't write me yet, please do so soon, so that we can discuss the details. (last i checked, not everyone wrote yet (make sure to use the correct address and subject please)).

So, give me four days to wrap everything up, and after that, i will try very hard, to make sure that even the unhappiest ones become happy in the end..

Everyone will get their stuff, there was never a question about that. It just hurts me, that i wasn't able to finish it all before shit hit the fan. But like i said, i will do everything in my power, to ensure, that in the end, everyone is happy, and compensated for their trouble.

Whoa what happened here? Is there a tl;dr version? I read about IgorT having tax problems....but it seems as if he has a million Over 9000 custom laser orders..

Batch 2 (& outstanding trades, etc.) members are his priority because they already paid / traded.

Yes, of course Igor assembles top-notch 660nm lasers too and yes, he did mention it in this thread (although the thread is primarily a BR thread) but you will need to email him to get a price / place an order. The red has it's own price (much less than a 6X but I'm not certain of the exact price).

Please be aware that Igor is extremely busy with a number of BR orders as well as other projects so that it might take him a while to get to you. I would also like to point out that member Likeitbright is also making very nice lasers - with custom heatsinks - in similar hosts. You can read up on his work in this thread. I also noted that a member is selling one of Likeitbright's reds here.

I have ordered from both members and thus I believe that they, among several other LPF veterans, are committed to making great lasers and supporting this community

I did get an email or two from Igor yesterday, and in the last 2-3 days I am now hearing from him a bit.   He is working on building the lasers that he has committed to making, and will soon let me know if a few more diodes will be soon needed as well as I have a stock of them as well as one he was shorted on the last GB that s/b coming soon.   I am sure he's quite busy now, but if emailed, I think he would take time to answer anyone with a laser ordered or a new order.  -Glenn

I will attempt to answer the question above from llll580,  It's my guess, but I'll correct it if Igor answers. I am basing my estimate on the cost of parts, for a open can Red laser in the Rominsen host, it s/b $215 give or take $15, approximately as the diode is about the same cost as the PHR these days, and the rest of the unit is the same except the driver must deliver about 400 ma where with the PHR the driver is set around 125 ma.  There is competition pressure to price a red laser lower, but the parts cost is what it is, and Igor has a lot of parts he has shelved as "not good enough" and this does cost time & $ if returned or just set aside.

Niko, 9000 lasers to make?, I don't know the actual # but my guess is it's less than 35 with my 5 inc.  I am fairly sure he has delivered over 100 lasers easily, before the tax troubles. -GH

When I asked Igor like 2 months ago this was his price:

the Romisen 6x is $260, Registered Priority Airmail is $9

Then after we lost touch.
