OMG Igor, I hope with all my heart that things work out for you bud. I cannot imagine the repurcussions of such a thing and I hope that things go well.

You know that you have all of our support.

Yeah man, hope everything works out!

If there is anything you need me to do, like scout out a location in my area of the country...just let me know.

...multi-post? In case you didn't know it, there's a an EDIT button...  ::) With all due respect, most of the last ten pages is pretty much analogous to noise pollution...

I would take Jriga's accusation(s) with a grain of salt. He's obviously hit his breaking point (it's a bit hard to blame him but still...). But let's just say, for the sake of argument, that he's right. Let's not forget that the DIYers on this forum are essentially mad scientists, machinists, etc. that have the ability to build incredible things that you and I can't (well, at least I can't).

As such, you will get stuff like power versus Time graphs from Igor, but he won't send Customer Service letters. Not to 50-some odd community members. And mind you, he's not even doing this for his own economical gain (not that anyone should be prevented from doing so, particularly in these economically-challenging times...  :'() He's doing it in the pursuit of Science (read: AR-coated Glass Lenses for us, the community  )

So look, I'm no monk myself and as a fellow clueless-buyer, I wouldn't mind getting a response either but if either you or Jriga or anyone else for that matter can't understand what it means to have taken on 56 builds as part of a hobby, then... there's nothing left to say, is there...  :-X
[/quote]

I'm really disappointed that you would call my posts 'accusations' and go out of your way to label them as such.  I haven't posted anything that fits the description of an accusation, merely normal questions - and as far back as I care to read I have posted the facts I've been able to gather, as well as some questions and suggestions.  I'm pretty sure you weren't trying to be destructive, so no big deal.

Simple reality for me (I will leave all of the other orders out of this post), is that I paid for something I never received. In the time period that has passed I have not even been given an explanation why, or when I can expect to receive it.  I wrote Igor last night - it was my last effort to contact him.  To my shock, I did not get an auto-reply.  I promised Igor that I would not disclose what I wrote to him, or his response (note: he didn't write back) to me, and in that I will keep my word.  But I CAN tell you that a few hours later he did update his thread, THIS thread, with the information you read above.

I'm sure warm wishes will pour in from the community, as they should for a fellow member who is having a hard time with something.

Glenn is a good guy, he'd post if/when he receives Batch #2 USA, so I will look for that post.  Igor, best of luck with your tax issues.
I sincerely hope you get them worked out.  And just as much, I sincerely hope to get my laser.

••EDIT•• - I cut out a bunch of this post since Glenn has now received Batch #2 in the USA. Whatever delay existed before has been sorted out it appears, and as such, it made most of this post irrelevant and false... so I removed it.

Hey IGOR !
Internet is the fastest network all over the world.
Just give her name (You'd better ask for help before) so all community can look for her.
People link to each other (this is a proved reality that you can reach anyone on earth after 6 links)
Let us look for her, maybe a LFP member or his/her friend can know where she is.
Whatever you decide I appreciate and wish you luck. Hope everthing will be sorted out.

Sounds really bad...
But I'm not sure this is true story because this fact can't be acceptable:

And this is the exactly the same way you've disappeared for us :)

It's like this. My accountant is AWOL. She is gone. Missing. I can't find her. I can't reach her in any way. She has simply dissapeared.

No, xless, forget that sentence from guastafeste; a lot of confusion came around Igor silence, and a lot of erroneous interpretation too. In addition, life and laws are not the same in different countries, so it is not easy to understand how can be difficult the bureaucracy; Igor is absolutely trustable, and if he risks to go in jail if something go wrong with its tax declaration, you must understand, THIS is the priority.
I wish Igor all the best for a positive solution, first for him, and then for all of his LPF fan members.

That's easily the best news I've heard for a good amount of time.

Well done - thanks for the post Glenn.

I'm joining everyone here in wishing Igor the best, he's a great fellow.

Here are some pictures of my last purchase from Igor - 170mw BluRay (6x) in a Dorcy body with very tight heat sink. This is a superb laser, I just love it!

The pictures also include other of my favorite lasers for comparison - the first laser from Igor a 121mw BluRay and two lasers by daguin red 250mw and BluRay 170mw (both duty cycle).

Holy shite... Igor my heart goes out to you.

I know you're working with others, but here are some suggestions:

- Most accountants belong to a professional society which gives them their CA accreditation. Contact that association.
- File a missing persons report with the local police. That might trigger an INTERPOL search. Especially if fraud is suspected.
- Scan the news media for murder victims matching her description. She may be AWOL permanently. (which will suck for you)
- Contact the tax office and ask whether you can access (or pay for) copies of your last year's records.
It will give you something to start again with, and a sample of your income if they do end up having to "estimate" this year.

I really hope she shows up, but it doesn't look good if so many others are in the same boat. You should all collectively retain a tax lawyer to handle all your cases as a single case. He will have more clout with the tax department and can play their game to let you all sort through this. Sharing the cost will pay off for you all in the long run.

Good luck my friend,
