Jriga :-/ I have known Igor for over a year now. I tell people this all the time. I have given IgorT about $150. For that I have recieved three blurays, one 200mw red. Why because he is a nice guy and felt bad about how I pestered him when I didn't recieve my first bluray ASAP. I'm serious 4 lasers. Remember he lives in Slovenia. Thier customs and Postal sucks, not exactly FedEx. Also he is not independently wealthy and relies on customers to pay for diodes he buys in batches to pass along the saving to us. His work is top notch. If there is a problem it is with you. I have offered an all expense paid vacation to America for two weeks to Igor. He has so far declined but the offer is still open. He is above reproach. Yeah I like this guy and always say so. How about he sends the lasers to me and I'll pay all of you naysayers double what you paid to Igor.

You need to settle down.  No one here, especially ME, has questioned Igor's character or work ethic.  In fact, on several occasions in this thread I've gone out of my way to let others know what little I knew at the time while urging people to relax and be patient.

Let me be very clear.  There is ZERO issue with ANYONE asking where there order is after a month.  PERIOD.    I firmly believe that Igor would agree.  There have been several stumbling points for these batches - shipping, batteries stuck in customs, snow storms, etc... this was a large order, bringing new people in to the hobby and adding complexity to the way Igor works - it is normal for people to wonder about their orders... so relax, will ya?

I've got no idea why you would walk in to this thread claiming you have 4 IgorT lasers that you only paid $150 total for, but only after you beat the guy up wondering where your order was.  Are you serious?  And you're ready to bring Igor to the USA for 2 weeks (thousands of dollars)?  Why not just pay him the proper amount for what he sold you? Eh... whatever.

Frankly man, I could care less that you're 'pissed'. You aren't in Batch #1, or #2 and you are way off topic while adding nothing to this thread.  And if you think you've got the cash, you can send me and every other person in these batches $538.00 (double what we paid).  I'll gladly send you my IgorT BluRay for that money - then I'll promptly order new ones from him so we can get the lens group buy going faster.

I'm 59 yo and have a good stash of cash in spite of the market. Paying someone to come to visit me and my wife would be great. Yeah, thousands of dollars. Not tens of thousands. Someday that will not sound so big to you and you will understand. And four lasers. Yeah, four. Sounds crazy, huh. Hey, I just paid over $2050 for an Optotronics RPL-450 with 3X beam expander. That is fun! But I must say the bluray is better than all of them. When you get one you will know why.

I'm not interested in your cash, your wife, or your need to pay people to visit you. I *might* want to hear more about your Opto, but only if you can stick with the laser chat.

usakickass, good for you if you have plenty of $$$.....personally i dont really care, i am quite happy with my average salary, and if i spend quite a lot of $ for something and i cant get any info about what is going on allow me to get "worried" about it.....

I've been reading this thread for months. I haven't been here in a while. Been into radioactive ores, gamma scintillators, etc. I love science. I have found that people who are into science are good people and if given half a chance will return double what you give. Religious people are the haters. They "believe", they don't question or look for new answers.
I have been doing Injection molding plastics for 30 years. I test and engineer molds.
I felt compelled to come to Igors defense because the exact same thing happened that is happening to you guys. I was in your shoes. Haveing been through the wondering why this man "ripped" me off . I was so wrong.
Just be patient and find something else like watch you-tube videos of lasers or look on ebay for laser optics. Read about the militarys new "dazzlers". 300mw green lasers that stop the skinnies from bum rushing some poor American boy or save an innocent Iraqi from lead poisoning. Buy some high quality glow in the dark paint for when the laser arrives. Fluorescent ores are fun. Body fluids can be found anywhere with the bluray. You can burn the eyes out of dead presidents or dead whereever you are from on you money. My wife and I have fun before we go to sleep pointing around our laser friendly bedroom. Your women will love it too.
Blurays vary in wavelength enough that no two are the same. I have one that looks like it is not as powerful as the next. In reality the "weak" one has a higher wavelength and burns better. Soon you will be basking in the glow of your new blurays and all will be well.
One word of caution. NEVER leave your bluray on accidentally unattended. The diodes will burn out. The little mirrors fry. AND never point your diode laser into a mirror and get the beam to shoot back into the exit aperture. That too will fry your laser. I have done both and so have two that dont work.
I have the feeling Igor is not going to like my defense of him. Sorry Igor, but I love you.

i know what you mean usakicksass, i know that everything is going to be allrite, and i do konw what to do in my spare time.it is not like im checking emails every seconds to find out if igor sent me one!!!!!
i know that if it doesnt answer it is probably because he is busy or his computer is down....
all i am saying is that updating the post saying something like
batch1 all shipped
batch2a all shipped aprt from .......
batch2b not shipped and so on....
would only take a couple of mins!!

NOT. ONE. PERSON. FEELS. "RIPPED". OFF. BY. IGOR.  PERIOD   That said, I'm pretty sure Igor is your 'man crush'.

There isn't a person here who is freaking out, there have been zero accusations made.  There are a group of people who are simply excited to receive their lasers.  After a series of unavoidable delays, the lasers have not yet made it to these people. Everyone has faith in Igor, but there ARE things out of his control. Shipping delays. Customs in the USA or UK.  It's NOT ALL on Igor!

It's not right to ask Batch #1 and #2a/b to not wonder if something went wrong in the shipping process.  I'm guessing Igor would be the 1st guy to tell you that these batches were a bit too large and a bit more complex than originally thought.  If you have something to add to the thread (like your post about not leaving your BR on), great!!  That's relevant and important info. And honestly, if this thread was full of angry people who were ranting, raving lunatics directed at Igor, his character, or his work ethic - then by all means... come on in to the thread and stick up for the guy.  But NONE of that is, or has been happening.  At all.

NOW FOR A REAL UPDATE:
• I do know for 100% certainty that (as of last night), Batch #1 USA Multipack has not arrived to USA customers yet.
• CNN had a quick blip yesterday about increased security of 'laser pointer pens' - some a-holes in the US have been pointing their lasers at airplanes.
• I MAY have a better shipping idea for Igor (and Glenn if going to USA) that might make future shipments easier for them. I'm expecting to get that info today/tomorrow and I will email them with it.

nobody really know anything about none of the different batches, apart from the fact that NO ONE has received anything yet!!correct me if i am wrong, but i think im not!also because i havn't seen any reviews on igor's 6x on the forum......i dont mind the waiting to receive the product as much as the grey area left around the whole process

Igor got basically 'slammed' with orders because of his high quality offerings...

The fact that I stopped selling complete builds, but only DIY kits, has also increased his orders. (shipping out of Slovenia is also very slow)

But as you guys know (and has been said), Igor is a man of his word. He is also a perfectionist. Good things will come to those who are patient. I have been in contact with him about some other stuff, and I happen to know that he gets tied up with huge demands on his time for his secular work as well.

But if you have an order in with Igor, you can be sure that he will take good care of you. You just have to be patient. It will be worth the wait!
