Hi guastafeste,

Welcome to LPF, to order one of these lasers you would need to PM IgorT ;)
your in the UK as well, excelent. Saw one of your other post a few days ago I know what you mean about charges for getting things into the country, last month I had to pay an extra £36 to get my LPM relesed from customs.

Not long now scopeguy mine just arrived this morning ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I've literally just unwrapped it and there’s no other word for it other than amazing!!!!!

The host is so small but it feels so strong not that I want to test that.

I quickly tested it's ability to burn white objects like paper it really actually works  :D :D I couldn’t believe it when the paper started smoking, and so does tippex which may explain when I tested the beam in a dark room and I can see it great, but I’ am seeing that funny halo thing round it which I have heard people talk about before, guess I just need to get use to seeing the blu ray.

The glow cap is blinding to look at when the laser is on, and I can still see it glowing now 10 mins later even though the lights are on.

I will post a full review of this over the weekend but for now it's playtime ;D ;D

Amazing laser Igor I can see why scopeguy keeps ordering so many from you, lol I think I’m going to be doing the same. +1 rep for amazing build ;)

Hey Franco,

how's thing's going over in CA ;D ;D

Thanks for the reminder list updated.

Your not wrong there mate these lasers are amazing!  ;) suprising just how many thing's are fluorescent.

had my first scare with it today had taken a few beamshots lastnight (none really that good still playing with the camera settings) and must have drained the battery down, then today when using it it just suddenly turned off, no dimming first just off.

Thought I had broken it  :-/ forgot the driver would just switch it off when the battery gets to low ;D

New battery in and alll is well. ;)

Haha, yeah, actually it is the battery that switches off when the voltage gets too low. The driver would just keep on working down to 2V otherwise! That's why i recommend PROTECTED batteries. Li-Ions should not be discharged under 2.7V, so protected Li-Ions have a circuit, which shuts them down when they drop below 2.7V.

But the battery shutting down for the first time IS VERY scary! ;D It scared me half to death on a green laser a couple of times. But then i got used to it.

If a diode dies, it doesn't go completelly dark, some pathetic amount of light still comes out. If the laser goes completelly dark, it's the battery protection kicking in. This reminds me i should send everyone instructions, where this is mentioned! :D

Also, if you're outside EU, please take the laser warning label out of the battery compartment, preferably BEFORE sticking a battery in! ;)
Otherwise you may squish it or get the battery stuck. ::)

Christmass is only a week away. Besides i wouldn't be able to do anything sooner than that. ;)

At night outside it is simply amazingly visible and beautiful! During the day you can still see it sometimes inside, if there is no direct sunlight, but smoke or fog helps.

Re: FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

Hehe, well i might soon have something money is worth spending on! 6x diodes!!!

I paid $350 to get my first (and only) personal 6x diode just three months ago or so - just for the diode! And yet i never regretted it. But if this works out, i can offer a full 6x laser for much less than that!  ;)

I updated the first post of the thread with info.

Man, these 6x's seemed so out of reach!

EDIT: Yeah, it is confirmed, i really am getting them.

Re: FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

hey culexor, having just got a 4x myself I can say the beam is suprisingly visiable at night, it just seems to keep going and going and going :D, unless you have it unfocused the you just get a big violet torch ;).

In the house you can see the beam in a dark room but you would struggle to see it during the day, although theres no way you can miss the spot you get from a paraell beam, even in daytime  :D
