Yea its a very secure method, but that extra layer of security comes at the price of transit speed.

PM sent about a possible 300mw red

BQ, i see many PMs, but none from you..

EDIT: Silly me, i already answered both of them before claiming never to have seen them... :yabbem:

This is what happens if i go away for two days..
Too many PM's (and emails without nicknames in the subject) and i get confused..

Yea its a very secure method, but that extra layer of security comes at the price of transit speed.

Yeah, we suffered from that a couple of times, but normally ~2 weeks for registered (can be more in rare cases), <1 week (if lucky) for unregistered Priority...

But if something goes wrong with unregistered, then you're out of luck! Possibly for good!
I once had two expensive packages lost for FOUR OR FIVE MONTHS, and was unable to do ANYTHING about it, because they had no tracking number!

Then a cleaning lady must have found them behind a counter or something, cos they suddenly just popped up out of nowhere, just as i was about to abandon all hope and started making free replacements (since i guarantee delivery!)..

This is why i ALWAYS use REGISTERED for lasers, and more expensive items... It can take a little longer on occasion, but at least i never lost a registered package... It's the cheapest "insurance" available...

Everything else shipped out of Slovenia, that would be faster and more secure costs $70 or more!

Oh yes I totally agree to use REGISTERED for lasers, and more expensive items; the sacrifice of transit speed is made up for in peace of mind to both parties for sure.

So, is anyone here perhaps interested in a ~400mW 8x build with an LG 8x diode?

I have an opening in my mini 8x GB, where the price of the drive is $159.99 (= $168.51 with shipping and PP fees)..
EDIT: OPENING FILLED!! (for questions or different wishes, PM or email me)

Unfortunately, it is a time limited offer, because the price was already changed to $179.99 overnight! :yabbmad:
To get them at yesterday's price, it can only work if i order 9 drives at once, and for that i need AT LEAST one more person (interested in an 8x diode or an 8x laser)....

Click here for the LG 8x Mini GB if you want to know what it's about.

- If you want an 8x laser, you can sign up for a diode there, I can assemble it for you and you can chose between almost all of my laser models, or Jayrob's designs for the host!

- If you want to Do It Yourself, you can still get a diode there, get it back fully PIV plotted and assemble it yourself with one of the many kits available!

EDIT: Opening was filled immediatelly, so currently, there is no NEED for more....
But IF someone still really badly wants one, it might still be possible to squeeze one in.

Hehe, i think we all are.. :yh:

Remember... Except for the 8x i made for Franco, i still have not played with an 8x yet! :cryyy:

I have an LG 8x diode here, but can't really do much about it, since i have to compare it to the others first, to select the lowest two out of the group for our little MURDER EXPERIMENT...

Hmm, looks like i suddenly have two batches almost at once!

The 8x's will take a while to get here, so i'll do 6x Batch #5 now, while waiting for the 8x MURDER EXPERIMENT candidates (and 8x Batch #1 diodes) to arrive....

I'll be checking here, emails and PMs regularly, regardless of how much work i have, but response time may be a bit slower than usual for a few days (till i'm done with the first part of the work)...

Igor, will you sell your special blu ray driver separately just by itself along with a v3 heatsink?

Do you want to know what the hard part of making my lasers is?

It's the drivers (and diode pre-testing and sorting). The rest is a joke.

I usually struggle for a week to pre-test a batch of diodes and make a batch of drivers, each individually set for a pre-tested diode, but when these two parts of my work are done, i can complete AND ship an entire BATCH in a single day!

Unfortunatelly, selling my handmade drivers would not make any sense whatsoever, cosit simply takes too much time!

I would have to have them factory made in China for them to be sellable..
And maybe, just maybe, i will!

But until then, my v3 Heatsink/Module works just as well with a FlexDrive...
And i could sell you a stabilized FlexDrive with a v3 Heatsink/Module...

In any case, you're gonna have to write me an email.

EDIT: Never mind that, staying in, plotting diodez... :yabbem:
