Make one with a new 3x beam expander on it to bring the divergence down and I'm interested.

You can't just "make" high efficiency builds at will.... If you could, everyone would choose to make every build with a diode capable of 1.75W

If an expander was built into it, I'd expect reduced output with the extra optics, but even if it were 1 watt output with a 3X expander, I'd be interested. I just want the mRad to be comparable to a good 532nm DPSS laser, or better. If expanded enough to produce an mRad of 1.0 I'd be impressed for a 520nm laser, it would then have better divergence than a DPSS laser, fat beam of course.. but that isn't a problem at this kind of power, it's awesome. I have a Jetlasers 532nm DPSS I never take its 10X expander off of, its 30mm fat beam is gorgeous in the night sky at over 700mw.

Interesting fact: A laser with a 2mm wide beam with 1 mRad of divergence will produce a beam which is ~520 ft/~161m wide 100 miles away, at 2 mRad ~1056 ft/~322m. Easy online spot size calculator at: http://www.pseudonomen.com/lasers/ca...alculator.html

I will take it please, if you still have it. I've checked, and I've got the funds. I'd like a couple of Qs answered RE shipping. Would love to move this to PM and finalise things.

Thank you Aardvark / Alex

That's a nice laser, I'm just waiting for them to put a beam expander in it so the divergence is close to 1.2 mRad. I may be waiting a life time, I don't know they ever plan on doing so.
