Are you selling all these or are you just explaing what wavelengths u can get out of a laser.
If you are, you missed 445nm.

Either way, nice thread.

This kinda seems like a copy and paste? But since when does cni spam? in the Pro Shop area none the less.

There's no links either. I think someone might be either drunk or high.

I would love to see the price tag on the 2500mW MGL-W-589 Labby. I wonder if they need someone to do a review.

You know, I'd love to. But every time I send Ava an inquiry for a quote, I get nothing. I'd LOVE it if CNI were easier to buy from. They make it very difficult for me to give them money.

Hmm. Let's see how this works.

Dear CNI.

I have asked if you nice folks could produce the following wavelengths in a PGL-III-C host.

-457nm.
-480nm.
-491nm.
-500.8nm.
-515nm.
-523.5nm.
-526.5nm.
-556nm.
-561nm.

These are all wavelengths you wonderful, gleeful, shiny folks at CNI advertise repeatedly that you can produce.

To date, your response has been as follows:

-457nm: Nope. Can't do it.
-480nm: No way, son.
-491nm: Nope. Sorry. Try again at some other unspecified time.
-500.8nm: No, We'd love to, but we just can't.
-515nm: No! If we said yes to you, then we'd have to say yes to everyone else.
-523.5nm: No. Oh wait - that one we ca--- .. nevermind, nope.
-526.5nm: No! DING. Nope.
-556nm: No can do.
-561nm: Absolutely!

As a result of these responses, I have ordered the following laser, enthusiastically.

-561nm.

It would stand to reason that:

  • if you amazingly accomplished and wonderful people at CNI would produce the above wavelengths,

  • I would buy said lasers at said wavelengths.

Your advertising is wonderful, thorough, repeated, and built of impressive lists of impressive products.

The purpose of advertising is to increase potential customer interest, and, therefore, sales.

It has succeeded.

As a result of this, I would really like to buy your stuff.

I have met you at CNI half way. Please meet me at that smiling middle-point, where you actually sell me your stuff.

You make lasers. I buy lasers. This can work! I know it! All we have to do is try.

Please contact me when you exemplary folks at CNI would like to allow me to buy your stuff.

Sincerely,
Aryntha / Matt

I hope they'll write back. I feel that my 561 was a one-night stand.

(P.S. : Yes, I'm mostly kidding. This is mainly a frustrated joke. I do realize that some DPSS wavelengths may be harder than others to fit into a portable host, even the larger PGL-III-C model. However, I figure at least one of these should be possible. Sometimes it feels like they tell me 'no' simply because they do not wish to bother. It's frustrating, because CNI often seems to not want to sell to individuals, or to sell single lasers. If this is the case, CNI, -- LPF may not be the best place for you to advertise. If, however, you guys change your tune, I'm sure you folks could make quite a bit of sales via LPF. They'd add up. Please consider it. )

Yeah, why don't they just make a catalogue of products with prices, I have asked for one before but had no reply:cryyy:

Manufacturers don't work that way. The price depends on order quantity, supply and demand and their general mood that day. There is no definite price, and they don't like to sell to individuals.

If you want a CNI laser, I would suggest buying through a reseller, that way it will be both cheaper and both parties will be happier. Or you can wait for the CNI GB's.

True, but they could always make a catalogue of highest expected prices or prices per quantity and it would certainly expand their buisness.

CNI is doing great job at Lasers. Their Website designer needs to be fired.
If they would make a nice Website with 30% lower, officially fixed base prices, their volume of sales would raise.
I think their business is focused on other Laser products as Laserpointers. More industrial.
